It is something to be cherished forever, and that is why it is always important to be aware before deciding to spend the rest of your life with one person. In the Philippines, a Philippine wedding is a very important event in their lives. Before a couple actually embarks into their future, there are certain things they need to follow, and the law for requiring couples to wed is actually kind of strict in the Philippines. If you prefer to have a church wedding than a civil one, there are also other requirements needed such as your baptismal and confirmation certificates, a canonical interview which is done one month before the wedding and a pre-marriage seminar. Weddings go by fast. Sure, the planning phase may seem like it takes forever and sorting out the details can be too tedious. But, once the actual event begins, things start to blur. Everyone wants a minute with you, you’re pulled this way and that to cut the cake, dance, smile for photos, dance again, make a toast, throw the garter, etc. The list goes on a on. So, how can you make time slow down to a manageable pace? Unfortunately, you can’t. But there are ways to make sure all of your wedding memories care captured.

One way to savor your special day is to consider bringing a wedding videographer onboard. Though the first thing you may think is oh no. That’s too expensive and there’s no room in my budget, it doesn’t have to be the case. There are loads of budget options.

First, consider what you’re going for. Do you just want the ceremony on tape? If you or a friend has a video camera and a tripod, you can have someone set it up and press record when the time comes. Also, you can consider buying a video camera and letting someone man it. Consider friends and family. Are any of them good with a camera? And, we’re not talking James Cameron good. Can they operate it, be trusted not to drop it, and be around to capture the good moments? With editing software, you or our fiancé can turn an amateur video into a keepsake.

Other option is to check the communications department at area colleges or universities. If you can find a student majoring in film, they may be interested in working on your special day. Their prices will be lower than professionals, and they may be able to use the school’s technology for editing and mixing.

If, on the other hand, you love your friends but don’t trust them with technology, check out area venders. Yes, you will pay. But, you and your fiancé may end up feeling like the end result is truly priceless. First, check with your photographer. They can often provide video service for an extra charge. And, be sure to ask about hourly rates. If the initial price includes eight hours of video footage, ask how much two hours will cost. Also, be sure to inquire if editing is included. If you’re going to pay for footage, getting it back in some semblance of order should be included.

Check with your music provider. It’s not uncommon these days for DJs to also moonlight as videographers. Sometimes the DJ will bundle the two services. If you’re having a live band, be sure to check and see if they provide additional services. Remember that the wedding industry is large; people often combine skills so that they can serve you best.

Before you go paying out the big bucks or letting your 15 year old bother man the expensive new camera you bought, talk to your fiancé about what is most important to each of you. Maybe you don’t need every dance move recorded. Maybe you just want the ceremony on film. Regardless, a little creativity and brainstorming will help you find what you’re looking for at the right price.

Wedding photo albums are like diamonds of memories that do last forever.

And a great way to capture the memories of your special day is to have them artfully displayed in a wedding photo album. Today, the sky is really the limit with albums. You can spend a lot or a little. You can have someone create the album for you or you can do it yourself. You can even make it a group project. Regardless, the important thing is that you come away with something you like and will return to for years and years.

If your budget allows you to go all out with your wedding photo album, there are lots of options to consider. Usually, when you hire a photographer, a wedding album of some sort is included in the price. The basic album may not be what you and your fiancé are after. No worries. Grab an album, some glue, scissors, paper, and decorations, and get to work. Friends and family can bring photos they took at your wedding or you can supply your own. People can work in groups of two or three to design their own pages. Imagine the fun of assembly plus the finished product. It will continuously bring to mind memories of your special day plus the people who helped create it.

So, in conclusion, it’s not about how much you can afford. It’s about how much you like the finished product. Whether an expensive professional makes your wedding photo album or a group of girls puts it together over a bottle of wine, the object is to walk away with something you’ll always treasure.
